Join us for kids classes at Yoga Among Friends! Our Yoga for Kids classes are just that - kid friendly! This program empowers kids of all abilities through yoga.
Our fun, playful classes are focused on attentive breathing, interactive asanas, and calming practices. Yoga essentials are incorporated to encourage healthy habits, concentration and memory, limber bodies, and sleep-filled nights.
This is a class that offers children a freedom from curriculum and competition where creativity, confidence, and courage can flourish. It encourages them to explore their own emotional and physical capabilities and enjoy the peacefulness of relaxation.
Yoga for children has been proven to significantly positively affect academic achievement, general health, personal attributes, and relationships. This 6-week series will include mindfulness, anxiety, gratitude, compassion, healthy eating, homework skills, healthy bedtime routines, and anger management.
YOGA FOR KIDS CLASSES (Ages 6-12) SCHEDULE
Classes are 60 minutes long and are limited to 16 children. Registration is required.
