Why choose our yoga teacher training program

Our teachers come from the Krishnamacharya linage, which is a profound yet practical approach to Yoga, where all the tools of Yoga are implemented and wisely adapted to meet the needs, abilities, goals and requirements of each student.  You will learn to approach the body not just as a physical construct, but as part of a holistic entity.

We are a registered yoga school with Yoga Alliance.

What our students are saying…

  • I chose to enroll in Yoga Among Friend’s 200 Hour Teacher Training based on your stellar reputation. Wow, did I make the right choice! I’ve had the privilege of learning from your combined 35+ years of learning and teaching experiences, as well as from your network of friends in related fields (Ayurveda, Sutra study). Thank you both for sharing your knowledge, experience and patience with me as I journey along my yoga path.
    — Mary Kay LaGuardia, Class of 2019

    — Melanie Unell, Class of 2020

  • Yoga Among Friends RYT-200 teacher training program transformed not only my physical practice but opened my life to the sacredness and relevance of the ancient Vedic teachings in today’s world. Through their complementary teaching styles and expansive knowledge, Laura Jane and Julie showed extraordinary dedication to our group’s success in the midst of a global pandemic.
